Prior to his current role, William worked as a Backend Engineer at Spotify, where he gained valuable experience in designing and implementing scalable backend systems. Before joining Spotify, William worked as a Software Engineer at Rent the Runway, where he maintained, developed, and improved the company's backend services. He also worked in a cross-functional team to create Our Runway, a retail page that used user photos to exhibit dresses. Additionally, William owned and maintained the key item reservation system and implemented improvements that created faster item turnaround. He also designed and implemented a standardized access logging format on all backend services across different frameworks. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Economics from Columbia Engineering.
